Ohio Phoenix & Mid-Ohio Phoenix recognize that basketball is only one facet of a young person’s life. Our mission is to be a memorable part of their journey by providing a healthy and safe environment where confidence in their athletic abilities can soar; they can hone their basketball skills, while enjoying the company of their fellow teammates and coaches and the thrill of playing competitive basketball. As an organization we do not emphasize basketball as the number one priority over other areas of our young athletes’ lives. Our commitment is to complete the personal growth of our players and give them the platform to gain exposure.

            The Phoenix organization is one of the fastest rising AAU programs in the Midwest. We were founded in the spring of 2020. The founder and director of the program, Jordan Johnson was excited when the program blossomed over the last couple of years and took off. We are a recognized program throughout the Midwest. We were able to make a name for ourselves in such a short amount of time due to the results of getting players to the next level and having successful teams. This past AAU season The Phoenix organization garnered numerous championships and interest from college coaches.  We are also excited to announce that we will have 15+ players that will continue their academic & athletic career in college this upcoming year. With all the amazing things we have done in a short time span. Ohio Phoenix is the exposure teams within the organization from grades 7th-11th. These teams will play on a independent exposure circuit to gain attention from College Coaches around the country. Mid-Ohio Phoenix will now operate as the youth development program getting players and teams ready for the exposure circuit to gain college exposure.

We will have a 4th-12th Grade Teams (10U-17U) for the 2025 AAU Season. Ohio Phoenix & Mid-Ohio Phoenix is all about matching great coaches with great families. We believe that nothing great gets done without hard work and dedication and we promise to work hard and dedicate our time to your athlete. Below are our goals for the program:

Goals

• To become a premiere AAU organization for Girls Basketball in the Midwest.

• To develop each player's character by teaching them the value of teamwork and sportsmanship through the game of basketball.

• To provide players with knowledge of the game by obtaining an excellent coaching staff who use instruction and techniques that are individually designed to improve skills and enable players to compete at an elevated level.

• To foster an atmosphere where working hard towards a common goal and achieving your potential are intertwined.

• To prepare players both athletically and academically so they are ready to advance to the next level of play or stage of life.

• To improve the quality of play for all OHSAA junior varsity or varsity teams.

• To assist highly skilled players in obtaining college scholarships or financial aid.
